WHAT IS ANXIETY THERAPY AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Anxiety therapy helps you understand and change the patterns of thinking and behaviour that keep anxiety going.

 

Through techniques like CBT and EMDR, you learn to recognise anxiety triggers, reduce their intensity, and build new responses, so anxiety no longer controls your decisions.

Lauren uses a range of evidence-based approaches tailored to you. CBT helps you identify and shift the thought patterns driving your anxiety. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is particularly effective when anxiety is linked to past experiences or trauma. Psychodynamic work explores the deeper emotional patterns that feed anxiety over time.
